A traffic stop on US 641 north of Murray resulted in the drug arrest of a Benton man.
A Calloway County Sheriff's deputy stopped the vehicle of 37-year-old Joshua Pendleton because his registration was reportedly expired.
During the stop, Pendleton allegedly did not have an insurance card. A search reportedly located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the car.
Pendleton was arrested and charged with meth possession, expired registration, and no insurance,
