Man jailed on Crittenden County drug charges

A traffic stop Friday night in Crittenden County ended with a man in jail on drug charges,

According to the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office, the sheriff spotted a vehicle driving carelessly along KY 2123 near Sheridan. The driver, 50-year-old Carl Belt, had an active bench warrant. A search reportedly uncovered marijuana and a legend drug in Belt's possession.

Belt was arrested and charged with marijuana and legend drug possession, operating on a suspended license, and other traffic offenses.

He was taken to the Crittenden County Jail.
