Four more new homes awarded to Mayfield tornado victims

Four more families received new homes on Tuesday in Mayfield after theirs were destroyed by the 2021 tornado.

Governor Andy Beshear joined Mayfield mayor Kathy O'Nan and city officials on South Street to hand over the keys to the latest families to get new housing.

The homes were another installment in the Build Hope program, sponsored by the Hope Initiative. Since the tornado, 54 homes have been delivered along with many other volunteer services.
