The U.S. Attorney's office and Paducah Police announced that a soldier stationed at Fort Campbell will face federal child exploitation charges.

A federal grand jury indicted 23-year-old Cameron Lawrence with one count of enticement of a minor, two counts of attempted enticement of a minor, and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Lawrence made his first court appearance on June 3 and he is being held pending trial.

If convicted, Lawrence faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
