Fire damages Cuba Volunteer Fire Department

Fire damaged the main station of the Cuba Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said that just after 4 p.m. the Cuba Fire Department building had been reported to be on fire. Departments from all across Graves and surrounding counties had responded to assist, and for that, the Cuba volunteers offered their appreciation.

The Cuba Fire Department posted on social media later Thursday evening that while the damage to the building was significant, their trucks and equipment were all saved, meaning they would be available to respond in an emergency.
