An Evansville man was arrested in Murray Wednesday morning after reportedly forcing his way into a home and assaulting a resident.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Edgewood Drive around 2 a.m. Wednesday when a man forced his way into that home and assaulted one of the people inside. Deputies indicated that the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Keith A. Fuller, Jr. of Evansville, was someone the people in the home knew.

By the time deputies arrived, Fuller had left on foot, leaving his vehicle behind. Investigators searched the area for hours before Fuller eventually turned himself in. Fuller was booked into the Calloway County Detention Center and charged with burglary and assault.

According to the report, no one required any medical treatment.
