Fatal crash under investigation in Marshall County

A fatal crash that occurred Friday morning is still under investigation in Marshall County.

The crash happened just before 7 a.m. on the northbound side of US 641 between Hardin Wadesboro Road and Brewers Highway near Hardin. Marshall County Coroner Kenny Pratt told West Kentucky Star that a vehicle ran under a semi turning into a business just north of the Calloway County line, just past Hardin Wadesboro Road.  Pratt said the victim is a 32-year-old male from Calloway County. Investigators with the Kentucky State Police conducted an accident reconstruction at the scene and are handling the investigation.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday in Louisville. The name of the victim will be released once notifications are complete.
