Exit 3 eastbound off ramp back open this morning

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reopened the I-24 eastbound exit ramp at the Exit 3 Cairo Road interchange this morning, a week earlier than expected.

Meanwhile, the eastbound onramp at Cairo Road will remain closed for about another week to allow concrete pavement to be completed.  To enter Interstate 24 eastbound, motorists will still need to use Coleman Road or Olivet Church Road to US 60 and Exit 4.

As the eastbound exit ramp opens, there will also be some traffic shifts on Cairo Road itself to allow diamond grinding along the newly paved road.
