Union City airport to receive federal funding

The Delta Regional Authority announced Tuesday that it has awarded more than $128,000 to the Everett Stewart Regional Airport in Union City, TN.

The funding will be used to plan and design an expansion of the airport's current hangar, taxi lane and ramp space to allow for the continued growth of aviation-related businesses and to attract new businesses.
