Elliot defeats Workman for Graves County Jailer

Incumbent Graves County Jailer George Workman was narrowly defeated in his bid for re-election, falling to Kelly Krill Elliott.

Elliott, an independent, received 45% of the vote in a three-candidate race, while Workman received 43% of the vote as Elliot received 5,303 votes to Workman's 4,968. 

In other key Graves County races, Judge Executive Jesse Perry defeated Michael Dick to hold on to his seat.

Perry defeated his Democratic challenger receiving 7,188 votes to Dick's 3,100.

Danny "Bubba" Winfrey won his bid to become County Commissioner for District 1. Winfrey received 66% of the vote in a three-person race for the seat. 

Republican District 2 commissioner Tyler Goodman held off his opposition in Democratic challenger Joe M. Currin with 79% of the vote.
