Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews in multiple counties are out treating the roadways as some areas are seeing freezing rain early Sunday morning.
Crews in Livingston and Lyon counties are seeing ice accumulation on trees and roadways are starting to get slick, especially on bridges and overpasses.
A Crittenden County crew is also reporting freezing rain. In McCracken and Trigg counties, crews have reported a change from freezing rain to rain, intermittently.
Trucks have been running this morning in Ballard, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, and Trigg counties, spraying salt brine on interstates and major highways, and spot-treating bridges and overpasses.
Other crews are on standby if the weather takes a turn.
