Elizabethtown man jailed in Metropolis after complaint at apartment

An Elizabethtown man was jailed in Metropolis last week after a trespassing complaint at an apartment complex.

Metropolis police were called to the Spence Apartments after a caller said 32-year-old Craig L. Montgomery was on the property.

Officials said Montgomery had previously been trespassed from all properties belonging to the Massac County Housing Authority.

Montgomery was reportedly found in one of the apartments and charged with criminal trespassing.
