An earthquake shook a portion of southwestern Illinois near the Indiana border early Monday morning.
The tremor registered a 3.5, according to the U.S. Geological Survey at the University of Memphis. It happened just after 2 a.m. and was centered about 4 miles east of Calhoun, Illinois, and about 40 miles northwest of Evanville.
As of late Monday morning, 325 people reported feeling it to the USGS, but there have been no reports of any damage.
