A shooting early Monday morning on Northview Street left one man wounded.

Paducah Police said they initially received a call at about 12:30 a.m. for a disturbance at a business in the 900 block of Boyd Street. Officers were then advised of a shooting at North 11th and Northview Streets when they got to the location.

Police said they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. They found bullet holes in a parked car and a house in the 1100 block of Northview Street, where a man and his child were asleep but unharmed at the time of the shooting.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
