A drug investigation resulted in the arrests of three Paducah men on Friday afternoon.

Drug detectives from the McCracken County Sheriff's Office arrested the three men after making undercover purchases of cocaine and fentanyl at a North 8th Street apartment complex. Detectives reportedly made the purchases from 44-year-old Sean Irons of Paducah. Irons is said to have directed the deputies to the apartment complex and sold them quantities of the drugs.

Following the purchases, surveillance of the complex continued. They allegedly saw Irons with others believed to be involved in the drug trade. A traffic stop on a vehicle driven by one of the individuals involved reportedly uncovered bags of marijuana and money thought to be sales proceeds. They also found scales on the driver, 32-year-old Joshua Teague of Paducah. Teague was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana.

Irons, meanwhile, tried to leave the area in a vehicle driven by 43-year-old David Robinson, Jr. Deputies stopped that vehicle, as well. Reportedly, they located cocaine on Robinson, while finding marijuana on Irons. A search of the vehicle also allegedly uncovered 139 grams of crack and powder cocaine, digital scales, oxycodone, and synthetic marijuana. Over $2,600 in cash was also found and deputies believe that to be drug sale proceeds.

Both Robinson, Jr, and Irons were arrested and both were out on bond from arrests in 2023.

Robinson was charged with trafficking in cocaine, opiates, and synthetic drugs. Irons was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, cocaine, opiates, and synthetic drugs.
