Discovery of suspicious vehicle leads to drug arrest

A person was arrested on drug related charges Monday night in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was patroling on Central Road when a suspicious car was found running in the parking lot of a church.

The operator was identified as 43-year-old Juan Mata.  A vehicle search was conducted and a quantity of meth was found.

Mata was also found to be under the influence.  Charges included possession of a controlled substance, DUI and other offenses.
