Dexter man gets gun, drug charges after search of his home

A Dexter man was arrested following the search of his home on Monday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said deputies executed a search warrant at the home of 55-year-old Michael Thompson.  During the search deputies said they found a firearm and methamphetamine. 

Thompson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and  possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
