Deputies searching for Livingston County theft suspect

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help locating a man wanted in connection to a theft investigation.

Deputies searched a home on Heater Store Road near Smithland, where they allegedly found several items that were stolen from a hunting cabin in the Bayou community in October.

Jesse Maxfield has been identified as a suspect in the theft. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Office at 270-928-2122.
