Death investigation underway in Caldwell County

A death investigation is underway in Caldwell County after police were called Sunday about a female found unresponsive.

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Department was called to Dripping Springs Road where deputies found 27-year-old Rachel Tucker of Princeton dead. Deputies said that 43-year-old Eric Wright of Princeton was the individual that placed the 911 call.

The Kentucky State Police was called in to conduct the investigation. According to the preliminary report, detectives suspected foul play. They spoke with Wright and then charged him with murder-domestic violence.

KSP is continuing the investigation.
