Kentucky Congressman James Comer has been selected to lead a transition team as Republicans prepare to assume control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy of California established the teams to assure that a Republican majority is ready to get to work when the 118th Congress convenes.
Comer, the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, will be joined in leadership of the transition team by Jim Jordan of Ohio.
