McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a pickup on Lone Oak Road just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday. According to the report, The driver, Paula Woodford of Paducah, was driving carelessly and could not produce an insurance card. Woodford had a passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Melissa Moore of South Fulton, Tennessee.
The investigation uncovered methamphetamine, amphetamine, and Promethazine pills, plus drug paraphernalia.
Both women were arrested and will face multiple drug possession charges. Woodford also will face traffic offenses.
