Collapsed culvert shuts down KY 453 in Livingston County

A section of KY 453 - Iuka Road - has been shut down because of a collapsed culvert.

Livingston County officials said the collapsed culvert is just north of Cutoff Road. That section of the road between Cutoff Road and Smithland will be blocked for more than a week while engineers from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet assess the damage and make repairs. 

The primary detour route between Smithland and Grand Rivers will be via US 60 to Cutoff Road, then south to KY 453.
