Cleanup complete from propane truck crash in Hickman County

The cleanup from the crash of a propane truck in Hickman County is complete.

According to Hickman County Emergency Management, KY 123 opened to traffic at about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday after the crash on Tuesday morning. The crash reportedly only involved the propane truck. The driver and passenger had to be rescued from the truck and the two were flown to a hospital for treatment of their injuries from both the crash and the fire that resulted.

During the cleanup process Tuesday evening, Hickman County Emergency Management officials called for residents within a mile of the crash site to evacuate. They were allowed to return home after 11:30 p.m.
