After several days of temperatures well above normal, the pendulum will swing back to the colder side next week, with a chance for some snow accumulation.
The National Weather Service in Paducah said there is a chance for some snow to accumulate on Monday night. Earlier that day, rain will transition into a rain/snow mix.
Highs will range from the upper 30s in southern Illinois, to the lower 40s in western Kentucky. Where temperatures end up will have an effect on how much accumulation is possible.
The historical average temperatures for Paducah in mid-February are 48 and 29.
