A fallen Kentucky State Trooper killed in the line of duty will be remembered in Livingston County on Monday.

Kentucky State Police and family members will place a wreath at the memorial site of Eric Chrisman on the tenth anniversary of his death.

The ceremony will take place at 10:45 a.m. at US 62 near the Tennessee River Bridge. The public is welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Chrisman was killed as he was responding to a reckless driver complaint when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer.

Trooper Chrisman had been a state trooper at Post 1 in Mayfield for six months when he died.

Chrisman grew up in Anderson County.
