Calvert City man arrested on drug, weapons charges in Oak Grove

A Calvert City man was arrested Thursday morning on drug related charges im Oak Grove.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported 31 year old Justin DeFrietas was stopped on Auburn Street for his license being suspended due to a prior DUI and traffic related offenses.

DeFrietas told deputies during the stop he had testosterone on his person and after a vehicle search, methamphetamine, a meth pipe, two loaded guns, ammunition and other pills were discovered.

DeFrietas was charged with prescription controlled substance not in proper container, possession of meth, driving on a DUI suspended license, and using restricted ammunition during a felony.
