Calloway County trio arrested for helping wanted fugitive

The search for a wanted fugitive led to the arrest of three Calloway County men on Tuesday.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said they received a tip that wanted fugitive Ronnie Sharp was at a residence on Skylark Lane. Deputies responded to the area where they observed Sharp and 45-year-old Leland Pyburn, 46-year-old Robert Davis and 22-year-old Austin Bebber, all of Murray.

Deputies said Sharp fled the area on an ATV and a short pursuit ensued. He then ran into the woods on foot and remains at large.

Authorities arrested the three men on a charge of hindering prosecution or apprehension of a wanted person.
