Calloway County man faces new drug charge

A Calloway County man who was out on probation is facing a new drug charge.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 39-year-old Daniel Garner was arrested September 19 on charges that stemmed from a traffic stop conducted at the end of August. Deputies had allegedly found Garner in possession of illicit drugs during that stop.

The Sheriff's Office said Garner has an extensive drug history and at the time of his arrest was on probation with the Calloway Courts for a possession charge in 2023.  

He now faces possession of a controlled substance and various traffic offenses.
