Cadiz man arrested in Caldwell County on Trigg warrant

A Cadiz man was arrested Thursday in Caldwell County on an outstanding Trigg County warrant.

According to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office, they were notified by Trigg County Dispatch that a man with an active felony warrant, allegedly involved in a domestic assault, was possibly in Caldwell County.

Deputies responded to a home, where they found the suspect, 42-year-old Jason Sharp, walking in a field behind the home.

Sharp was arrested on the warrant for charges dealing with domestic violence and criminal mischief.

He was taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
