Marshall County Sheriff's Department warns of phone scam

The Marshall County Sheriff's Department is warning of a telephone scam.

A report was received Friday of a call on behalf of the Sheriff's Department, that the person had missed jury duty.

The Sheriff's Department says they do not call people about jury duty or missing court dates.

They advise never to give personal information over the phone.
