Bridge in Hickman County set for replacement beginning Monday

A bridge on KY 123 in Hickman County will close starting Monday so it can be replaced, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The bridge over Little Cypress Creek near the Nichols community will be demolished. The current bridge has an 18-ton weight limit.

Contractors plan to finish construction a new bridge by the end of November
