Benton lifts complete burn ban for Halloween

The City of Benton says the complete burn ban has been lifted, at least through Halloween.

Benton Fire Chief Harry Green advised the City that residents can have a small fire ring or a fire pit through Halloween, but absolutely no bonfires in the city limits. 

Residents still need to follow the state burn ban that states you can only burn from 6 pm to 6 am and cannot burn within 150 foot of a tree line.
