A tip about a reckless driver on Saturday led to a Tennessee man's arrest in Ballard County.
Deputies located the vehicle on KY 121 North in Wickliffe and said the driver was in the opposite lane of travel.
Authorities stopped the vehicle and said the driver, 63-year-old Jack Glisson of Dresden, claimed he was a doctor.
Deputies investigated the possibility of a medical condition after Glisson said he had been awake for two days stuck in mud. He was treated at the scene by EMS, but refused to be transported to a hospital.
Deputies said it became apparent that Glisson was under the influence of a controlled substance, and a search reportedly uncovered 84 lortabs and 10 hydrocodone.
He was arrested and taken to the Ballard County jail on charges of DUI, reckless driving, possession of a controlled substance, and prescription not in a proper container.
