Graves County fugitive arrested in Carlisle also faces McCracken charges

A wanted Graves County man arrested in Carlisle County Monday morning after hours on the run will also face charges in McCracken County.

Dennis Wilcox was wanted for failing to appear in Graves District Court on a charge of receiving stolen property.

On Sunday, Wilcox was seen in Carlisle County after abandoning a vehicle. The vehicle prompted authorities to contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, who determined that the 1965 Ford Mustang had been stolen from a storage building off Clarkline Road. 

Wilcox was questioned by McCracken County deputies on Monday. Wilcox allegedly admitted to the theft, and was additionally charged with burglary and theft by unlawful taking of an automobile.
