A McCracken County man is facing multiple drug and firearm-related charges following a search that uncovered a drug lab on Wednesday.

As part of an ongoing drug investigation the McCracken County Sheriff's Office said detectives executed a search at a home on Old Mayfield Road.

Authorities said 53-year-old David Perdue was present during the search in which detectives said they recovered quantities of marijuana, cocaine and three firearms.

Detectives said they found a large garage on the property that was set up as a synthetic drug laboratory, where synthetic marijuana was being manufactured. Detectives said they seized several pounds of synthetic drugs from the location.

Perdue was charged with firearm-enhanced trafficking in a synthetic drug, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
