Assault investigation ends in false reporting charge for Murray woman

Murray police have released more details about the reported assault last week at a Murray hotel.

Authorities said they were dispatched on June 19 to the Murray Inn and Art Gallery for the assault.

The investigation reportedly uncovered that the incident was falsely reported to medical personnel and law enforcement.

Fifty-year-old Kimmi Early of Murray was arrested on charges of providing a false report which generates an emergency response and criminal mischief.
