Alleged reckless driver arrested for DUI, drugs in Mayfield

An Eddyville man was arrested on Monday in Mayfield after a complaint about reckless driving.

Mayfield Police got the call about a reckless driver on Paris Road. Officers located and stopped the vehicle driven by 22-year-old Frank Campanur of Eddyville. The roadside investigation resulted in Campanur's arrest. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of an open alcohol container in the vehicle, possession of marijuana, wanton endangerment, and traffic violations.

Campanur was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center, before being transferred to McCracken County.
