Check on stopped motorist leads to drug arrest in Graves County

A check on a motorist stopped on the side of US 45 led to a drug arrest in Graves County.

Deputies stopped to check on a vehicle sitting on the shoulder. A talk with the driver, 48-year-old Donald R. Isbell of Clinton, led deputies to search the vehicle.

The search reportedly uncovered crystal methamphetamine under the front passenger seat of the car.

Deputies also determined that there was no insurance on the vehicle.

Isbell was arrested and charged with possession of meth - 2nd offense, and no insurance.
