Gas prices back up in the region this week

Drivers in West Central Kentucky are finding higher prices at the gas pump this week.

Triple A's East Central Gas report out Monday found gas prices in the region are 20 cents higher on average than a week ago.

The average price this week is $3.49 per gallon.  Tensions between the US and Iraq are to blame for the higher prices.

Paducah's average price is $3.48 per gallon this week.
