Ledbetter Woman Charged With Prostitution

A Ledbetter woman was arrested Tuesday on charges of prostitution.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, detectives with the McCracken County and Livingston County Sheriff's Offices were conducting an investigation into prostitution that led to 52-year-old Denise Nichols of Ledbetter.

Nichols allegedly agreed to meet for sex in Ledbetter in exchange for a predetermined amount of money.

Nichols is charged with one count of prostitution. She was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
