Kentucky's all time leading scorer in high school basketball will stay in state and play for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Lyon County's Travis Perry made his announcement Sunday afternoon at Lyon County High School.
The 6-2 senior guard chose UK over Western Kentucky, Cincinnati, Alabama and Ole Miss.
Perry said during his news conference it had always been his dream to play for the Wildcats.
Perry set the all time scoring record this past spring, passing "King" Kelly Coleman's 4,337 points during the Boys Sweet 16.
