Record setting pork prices were on the menu Thursday at the Kentucky State Fair.
The Country Ham Breakfast auction of the grand champion ham netted a record $5 million dollars with Kelly Craft and Central Bank going in together on the bid. The same two parties teamed up for last year's $4.8 million, the previous record.
The 17.25 pound ham produced by Broadbent B & B Foods owners Ronny and Beth Drennan of Cadiz sold for roughly $290,000 a pound with the combined bid.
The money will go to a charity chosen by the winners.
