Man struck, killed by train in west Tennessee

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Huntingdon on Thursday afternoon.

According to KYTN, Andrew Tosh was crossing the tracks when a train struck him. The train was traveling through town at a speed under 25 miles per hour.

Tosh was reportedly hearing impaired, and had suffered a broken leg last year when he was previously hit by a train.

Authorities said traffic on High and Williams Streets was blocked while they cleared the scene.
