Customer at Kentucky gun store accidentally fires weapon, kills man

A Carroll County, Kentucky man was shot and killed inside a gun store last week, when another customer accidentally fired a gun he considered buying.

Kentucky State Police said the shooting happened at Humphrey Double H Farms Enterprises south of Interstate 71 in Carroll County.

Troopers found a victim inside being treated by EMS for a gunshot wound. They said that a customer inside the store was viewing a firearm for sale and manipulating it when a single shot fired, hitting someone else in the store.

The injured man was transported to the hospital, where he died.

KSP said after cooperation with the person who was handling the gun and interviews conducted with witnesses, no charges are pending.
