Early voting under way in Illinois, not yet in Kentucky

Early voting for November's general election is already under way in Illinois, but you still have a while before it's open in Kentucky.

Early voting in Illinois began on September 26. It was also the first day that voters can mail in their ballots.

The deadline to register to vote in Illinois is October 20.

Early voting will not start in Kentucky until Halloween Day, Oct. 31, which is the Thursday before Election Day.

Monday, Oct. 7 is the deadline to register in Kentucky.
