Wingo man arrested for alleged rape of 13-year-old

A Wingo man was arrested on charges connected to the alleged rape and sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl on Wednesday.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said while on an unrelated investigation in the Wingo area, deputies received information of the alleged rape.

Deputies located the suspect, 23-year-old Brett M. Barham. After being interviewed by a detective Barham was arrested and charged with rape and sexual abuse.
