Structure fire occurs in McCracken County

A structure fire occured in McCracken County early Tuesday morning.

According to a social media post from Concord Fire Department, just after midnight, Concord Fire Captain Jarrod Hillegas was on his way home when he recognized a detached garage at a home in the 3000 block of Olivet Church Road appeared to be on fire. 

Captain Hillegas radioed into dispatch and had Concord and West McCracken paged to respond. Units arrived on scene and began an offensive attack on the fire. CFD and WMFD worked on scene for approximately two hours before deeming the fire out and clearing the scene. Kevil Fire Department also assisted on the scene. 

No injuries were reported.
