A tip on Saturday led to the arrest of two Arlington men, including a wanted fugitive in Carlisle County.
Deputies received information that 30-year-old James Howell, wanted on a rape charge, was hiding at a home on County Road.
Deputies found and arrested Howell, and also arrested 29-year-old Hunter Green for his role in hindering their investigation by assisting Howell in hiding from law enforcement. Green had previously been warned by police that he would be arrested if he were to be found doing so. Green was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension 1st degree, which is a class D felony.
Both men were taken to the McCracken County Jail.
