Vienna residents can drink city water again; EPA gives okay

Vienna water customers can safely drink the water again, after a 'do not drink' order was issued on Friday.

The Vienna Police Department Facebook page posted that the  No Drink Water order is no longer in effect.

The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has sampled the water and approved the lifting of restrictions.

They added that the city of Vienna has been flushing lines since Tuesday morning, so a boil order will not be needed.
