Researchers from the University of Louisville will outline a new environmental study into potential environmental exposures to residents in western Kentucky.
The team led by Dr. Luz Huntington Moskos, Director of the Community Engagement Core for the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Services at UofL, will present the study called BEACON: Biomonitoring and Environmental Assessment for Community Outreach and Neighborhood Safety to the public on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Grand Rivers Community Center.
Moskos and other researchers will discuss “progress on wastewater sampling, air monitoring, wildlife research, and human health concerns.”
The public is invited, especially those living in Marshall, Livingston, McCracken, and surrounding counties.
